Who We Are
Advanced Cooling and Heating is a licensed residential and commercial HVAC contractor, License #CAC057209, based in West Palm Beach. Our technicians install, repair and maintain air conditioning systems, heating equipment, ductwork, indoor air quality systems and the controls that tie them together — for homes, offices, medical facilities, retail, condominiums and property management portfolios.
In South Florida, heating and cooling systems work under conditions far harder than most of the country. Extended cooling seasons, high humidity, coastal salt exposure and frequent storm activity put continuous strain on equipment. That shapes how we work: precise diagnostics, code-compliant installation, and decisions made for long-term performance rather than the quickest way to get a truck back on the road.
Since 1996 we have worked with homeowners, property managers and commercial operators across Palm Beach County. What has kept that going is not complicated — licensed technicians, recommendations explained in plain language, and installations performed to manufacturer specification and Florida mechanical code. When something fails, you get a diagnosis and a price before any work starts.
Why Florida Is Different
HVAC equipment here faces conditions that shorten its life and change how it should be installed and serviced. These are the six our technicians design around on every job.
Equipment sized for a milder climate runs short and leaves humidity behind. Condensers mounted without regard for salt exposure corrode years early. Systems without surge protection lose control boards to storms.
Accounting for these conditions at installation costs very little. Correcting for them after the fact usually means replacing something.
Talk To A TechnicianWhat We Do
From single-family homes to commercial facilities and property management portfolios, our technicians install, repair and maintain the whole system — not just the box outside.
Repair, installation and replacement, sized by load calculation rather than by whatever was there before. AC services.
Installation, repair and maintenance for the heating side, which in this climate gets used rarely and therefore fails quietly. Heating services.
Leaking, unbalanced or badly designed duct runs waste more capacity than most equipment upgrades recover. Ductwork.
Smart thermostats and zoning systems, commissioned and programmed properly so they actually deliver the savings. Thermostats.
Filtration, purification, ventilation and humidity control — the part of the system people notice most and think about least. Air quality.
Targeted improvements where they pay back, with financing available on replacements.
How We Work
Reliable HVAC service starts with evaluating the system, not guessing at the component. Rather than replacing the part that failed and hoping, our technicians look for what caused it to fail.
On a service visit we check refrigerant performance, electrical integrity, airflow balance, thermostat communication and condensate drainage. Those five between them account for the overwhelming majority of calls in this climate, and they interact — a drainage problem shows up as a humidity complaint, an airflow restriction shows up as a frozen coil.
Working that way corrects the underlying problem instead of the symptom, which is what stops the same fault returning in six weeks. It also means the estimate you get reflects what the system actually needs, including an honest repair-versus-replace comparison when the age of the equipment makes that the real question.
Where We Work
Our technicians know the building standards, permit and inspection requirements, and mechanical demands specific to these areas — which matters more than it sounds when a job needs signing off.
From emergency AC repairs and refrigerant leak detection to full HVAC system replacement, ductwork installation, heat pump service, and indoor air quality solutions, our HVAC technicians are ready to respond.
If you are experiencing no cooling, system failure, electrical issues, or AC leaks, call now for priority dispatch at 561-697-4247.
Heating and cooling failures do not wait for office hours. If your system has stopped, is tripping the breaker, icing over or leaking water, call for priority dispatch — and turn the thermostat off first, because running a frozen or low-charge system is what turns a repair into a replacement.
