We just installed another 2-Ton Fujitsu Mini Split A/C unit.
Ask yourself . . . would most A/C companies do the “wall patch” and paint the customers wall? . . . NO, the customer would be on their own, being that this is outside the scope of the A/C contractors work. That is just not how we do things.
You may need a Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner, if you are . . . .
If you are thinking about turning the garage into a private gym? Maybe you’ve added on an extra room and your existing system can’t provide enough cooling?
Maybe you work out of your home and want to turn a closet into a server room for your computer equipment?
Or. . . you’ve worked long and hard and want to turn a walk in closet into a temperature controlled wine room?
. . . Whatever the case may be, MINI-Split ductless air conditioners can be the best solution for you!
The main advantages of mini split A/C unit are their small size and flexibility for zoning or heating and cooling individual rooms.
Many models can have as many as four indoor air-handling units (for four zones or rooms) connected to one outdoor unit. Each of the zones has its own thermostat – this helps to air condition occupied spaces only. This will save energy and money.
Ductless mini split AC systems are easier to install than some other types of space conditioning systems. For example, the hook-up between the outdoor and indoor units generally requires only a three-inch hole through a wall for the conduit.
Ductless Mini Splits are more efficient
No Ducts means less cost and more efficiency. The mini split AC system has no ducts, so they avoid the energy losses associated with the duct work of central HVAC forced air systems. Duct losses can account for more than 30% of energy consumption for space conditioning, especially if the ducts are in an unconditioned space such as an attic.
